Ministries
At Sibley CRC, we offer several ministries. If you would like more information about a particular ministry or would like to volunteer, please contact Pastor Ben.
Food Pantry
4th Thursday of every month
4-6pm
We host the Food Bank of Iowa mobile pantry from 4-6 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of every month (except when holidays conflict with the date.)
Anyone who needs food is welcome to come. (Please bring your own bags or boxes.) If you are picking up food for another household, please bring a signed note from them including the name, address, and number of people in the household.
Volunteers are welcome as well!
Celebrate Recovery
Mondays 6:30-8:30
doors open at 6:15
Celebrate Recovery is a biblically based program that helps people deal with the hurts, habits, and hang-ups they have in their lives, which means this program is beneficial for anyone! The evening begins with worship and a large-group session followed by small-groups. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Bible Studies
1st and 3rd Sunday of every month
On the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month after the evening worship service, we have a light meal followed by a Bible study.
Sunday School
Sundays 10:50-11:30
September-May
During the school year, the Sunday school class meets after the morning morning worship service.
Prayer Gatherings
4th Sunday of every month
One powerful way to build community and live out our faith is to pray together. On the 4th Sunday of each month after the evening worship service, we have a light meal followed by a time of prayer. Men and women meet in separate groups to pray for our church and community, our nation and world, and personal prayer requests. If you don't feel comfortable praying out loud, that's ok. You can listen and pray silently.
English Class Ministry
Tuesdays 6:30-8:30
September 16-November 4, 2025
Classes will resume spring of 2026
The English class ministry is open to anyone in the community who would like to learn or improve their English. We also welcome volunteers from the community to help in a variety of ways. For more information, visit our English Class Ministry page.
